Ben
Ammi
Anointed
Spiritual Leader of the African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem
A review of the Biblical history shows us that it is not unusual for the
Omnipotent God to anoint a personal representative on earth and to invest
His authority in that representative.
Abraham was called the "friend of God." (II Chr, 20:7) Moses was told
that while Aaron would speak on his behalf, Moses himself, would stand in
the stead of God. (Exodus 4: 16) Jeremiah was chosen of God before he was
formed in the womb. (Jeremiah 1:5) And remember, Yeshua told his disciples
that "whatever ye shall ask the Father in my name, He shall give it to you."
(John 16:23)
Nevertheless, there will be those who look upon this author, Ben Ammi
Ben-Israel, Messianic Leader of the Kingdom of God, and wonder, "how dare
this man proclaim this community to be that spoken of by the inspired
prophets of Israel? And on what authority does he receive this mantle of
messianic leadership?
Any sincere review of his works will certainly lead one to the obvious
conclusions.
·
In 1966, he received a vision in which the angel Gabriel
revealed that the time had come for the descendants of the Biblical
Israelites among African Americans, to return to the Promised Land and
establish the Kingdom of God! A year later, despite his own anxiety, and the
skepticism of many, he led 350 African Americans from inner-city Chicago an
a journey to the bush of Liberia, West Africa.
·
The challenges of the sojourn in this West African wilderness
would be many, as the pioneers would face the searing heat, poisonous
snakes, driver ants by the millions and a rainy season of monsoon
proportions… all while living in tents and thatched-roofed dwellings, and
forced to learn to feed themselves.
·
In 1969, the first members of that community entered the
Promised Land and laid the foundation for God's Kingdom on earth-simply a
government of men and women governed by the laws of God. After initially
being received as new immigrants, by 1971 they saw their status revoked.
There without legal protection, the African Hebrews, as they came to be
known, endured cyclical attempts at deportation, banishment from national
educational and health care systems and repeated attacks on their character.
Instead of retreating, the Hebrews used the adversity as motivation,
building their own schools, health care and economic infrastructures to
provide for themselves.
·
By 1990, their courageous efforts were rewarded as legal
obstacles were removed and the community became renowned as an oasis of
social harmony, free of crime, drug abuse and immorality. Israeli media
declared the community "an island of sanity," and extolled the inspired
leadership of Ben Ammi. Even the American Congress took notice, labeling the
accomplishments, "the miracle in the desert."
For the last 14 years, the general public has been exposed to the
intellect of Ben Ammi through his writings, collectively and appropriately
called "The Resurrection Series." This includes the books God the Black
Man and Truth; God and the Law of Relativity; The Messiah and
the End of This World; Everlasting Life… from thought to reality,
Jesus the Christian Christ or Yeshua the Hebrew Messiah and An
Imitation of Life. Yet viewed through the prism of his achievements, we
are compelled to know that he is much more than an author.
So when on asks, "by what authority?" I am reminded of the words of
Prince Asiel Ben Israel, the International Ambassador of the Kingdom of God.
Observing the unsettled expressions of an audience, confronted with the
realization of Ben Ammi's work and the accomplishments of the community, he
remarked:
" When a man stands up and says God inspired him to build a church,
and he accomplishes that in spite of obstacles like economic shortfalls,
construction mishaps or architectural problems, no one is angry and they
proclaim that certainly God was with him. Likewise, if a man declares that
God instructed him to found a choir to proclaim the word of truth in song,
immediately after the first concert we are satisfied that truly God was with
him. Well, today we have the man who was inspired by God to return the
descendants of the Biblical Israelites to the Holy Land and establish the
prophetic Kingdom of God… and we are here as a witness to the
accomplishments of Ben Ammi. We can just as assuredly announce that God is
with him and this is the Kingdom of God!"
For those who have been watchers of time, searching for the messenger
sent from God, we implore you… take heart, be of good courage…
Behold the man of God…
