Truth has the Inherent Power...
As it is written in
the law of Moses, all of this evil is come upon
us; yet made we not our prayer before the Lord,
our God, that we might turn from our iniquities,
and understand thy truth. -
Daniel 9:13
Truth has
the inherent power to produce the promised
effects. In other words, Truth has a
built-in force that, when properly applied with
continuity, will achieve the results which have
been promised by the Inspired Prophets of
Israel. Truth is sovereign. It is omnipotent.
It can transform the vulnerable to invulnerable,
and the prey to impregnable. It has
encapsulated within it, the ability to restore
paradise on earth; open the prison gates of the
captives. Truth is dominant and infinite in
might. Under its influence everything becomes
possible.
Why is the
Bible, of all of the millions, even billions of
books on the planet, so revered and held in such
high esteem by all nations? It is the oldest,
most sacred and respected book worldwide. That,
in itself, is the proof of its power. The
attention and respect it is given is born out of
the fear of the Truth it contains. Possibly,
most of the interest is in preventing the power
therein from being manifest. A fundamental
point of reference that can never be forgotten
is that a master of deception must first know
the Truth. For if his intention is to mislead,
he must know well the original path.
Consider the
summoning of seventy Greek-speaking Hebrew
scholars to translate the Hebrew scriptures into
Greek (the Septuagint). History bears witness
to the fact that the ancient Greeks had no
intention of converting or becoming worshipers
of Yah (the God of the Hebrews). Then, what was
their motive? It was to place those sacred
writings into the hands of their own great
scholars for intensive study of Yah’s nature,
character and relationship with the House of
Israel. Thereafter, they would formulate a
masterful plan to prevent Israel’s sins – and
the curses which were the consequence of those
sins – from being remedied. Implementing such a
plan would prolong Israel’s demise and prevent
their rise.
It is obvious,
as we weigh the facts, that the words inscribed
in the Bible are Spirit and Truth. Like a
stealth fighter jet, the Bible is capable of
concealing itself to the enemy; it is capable of
identifying friend or foe, allowing the
understanding of its wisdom to appear and
disappear at will. Words of Truth are revealing
and confounding. They can seal themselves
within the Book and allow no man to open them.
Acceptance of these words of Truth, alone,
determines who will open their deep secrets and
access their power.
